If you're in Vila Real de Santo António, you can't miss a boat trip on the Guadiana River, an essential way to get to know the waters that bathe Spain and Portugal! At the indicated time, we'll meet at the town's quay to board a boat and set sail.
Once we're all on board, we'll enjoy the fascinating views of the Guadiana River, whose landscapes are characterised by its natural beauty and riverside villages.
After approximately 2 hours of cruising on the Guadiana, we'll disembark in the charming village of Foz de Odeleite. Here, we'll take a guided walking tour to discover its streets full of history—it's like a village frozen in time!
Lunch at Quinta do Rio
Once we have discovered the charms of Foz de Odeleite, it will be time to satisfy our appetites. To do so, we'll head to Quinta do Ria, an estate overlooking the Guadiana River and Foz de Odeleite, where we'll enjoy a delicious typical Portuguese lunch. But before that, you can cool off in the swimming pools. It will be very relaxing!
We'll sit down at the table and serve you a complete meal consisting of fresh cheeses, Serra soup, Algarve salad, barbecued chicken and steamed potatoes, one of the house specialities. All of this will be accompanied by homemade bread, seasonal fruit and a choice of water, white wine or red wine. In addition, the menu can be adapted for people with intolerances, vegetarian or vegan diets and for children.
To make this moment even more special, during lunch we'll listen to live music, which will create a lively and fun atmosphere.
3 hours later, and with this good taste in our mouths, we'll return to the boat and go back to the starting point, where we'll say goodbye after a total of 8 hours.
