Nærøyfjord Kayak Tour
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Evangervegen Street, next to Vangsvatnet Lake. There, we'll board a minibus and head for the Næroyfjord, the most narrow section of the Sognefjord.
Once we've arrived at our destination, we'll get into the kayaks and review the basic safety rules. Once we've done that, we'll start paddling! The Næroyfjord kayak tour will allow you to explore one of the most beautiful fjords in the world. In fact, UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site.
As we paddle through this natural wonder, we'll share the rich history of the Næroyfjord, a vital link connecting the western and central parts of Norway for many years. Prepare to be captivated by the sight of snow-capped mountains reaching heights of over 1,400 meters (4,593 feet), a multitude of waterfalls, charming villages nestled along the fjord's banks, and luxuriant vegetation that casts its emerald reflections on the pristine fjord waters. It's pure natural beauty at its finest!
Midway through our journey, we'll take a well-deserved break, and you're welcome to bring a picnic to refuel and savour the surroundings. After recharging, we'll continue our adventure.
Our kayaking tour will span 3 to 4 hours. When our time on the water comes to an end, we'll return to the minibus that'll transport us back to Voss. In total, this remarkable experience, including transfers, will take approximately 7 hours.
