The Chronicles of Narnia Tour
Tour Details
We’ll meet outside the Nowe Horyzonty Cinema and set off from Wrocław toward the village of Adršpach, located near the border between the Czech Republic and Poland.
Once there, we’ll explore the famous Adršpach rock town, a maze of dramatic gorges and towering stone formations. The landscape feels almost dreamlike, with natural sculptures such as the Lovers, the Mayor and Mayoress, Sugar Loaf, and Krakonoš’s Tooth rising from the forest like giants frozen in time.
Did you know this magical place served as a filming location for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe? If you’ve seen the movie, you might remember the scene of Lucy Pevensie and Aslan standing high among the rocks.
You’ll have time to take photos with these stone giants before we continue walking to the waterfall that captivated Johann Wolfgang von Goethe during his visit to Adršpach in 1790.
After the walk, you’ll have free time to keep exploring the area or enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant. Please note that restaurants are only open from April to October, as they remain closed during the low season.
After lunch, we’ll head back to Wrocław, where the excursion will come to an end.
Additional Info
We’ll walk a route of approximately 3.5 kilometers that includes several staircases. There’s also a very narrow passage, about 50 centimeters wide, in the final part of the route. Depending on your fitness level, you may choose to complete only the section of the trail that does not include stairs or narrow passages.
Also, please note that to reach Adršpach, we’ll cross the border between Poland and the Czech Republic, so you’ll need to bring your passport or equivalent identification.
