Cork Bike Tour
Cork Bike Tour
At the appointed time, we'll meet at 33 St Patrick's Quay, from where we'll start our tour of the city in the most environmentally friendly way, starting our Cork bike tour!
Following a gentle pace, we'll cycle along the River Lee as we discover the maritime past of this Irish city. We'll cycle through streets of colourful houses and wide parks, discovering the highlights of the city.
Throughout this tour, we'll stop at some of the most emblematic spots in the city. We'll pass St. Patrick’s Bridge, a 19th-century gem that connects the commercial heart of Cork.
We'll continue toward Emmet Place, home to the prestigious Crawford Art Gallery, and cycle toward Fitzgerald’s Park, a green haven that was made during the 1902 International Exhibition, where the city celebrated its genius and cultural spirit.
Afterward, the campus of the University College Cork will greet us among Neo-Gothic buildings, wooded trails, and a student atmosphere that brings the city to life. Then, we'll visit Elizabeth Fort, a 17th-century fort that stands on a strategic hill, offering wonderful scenic views of the old town.
From there, we'll head to Grand Parade, one of the most historic avenues in Cork and the setting for its medieval markets, processions, and episodes that forged its reputation as the Rebel City.
We'll finish this 2.5-hour bike tour of Cork by returning to the starting point.
