Kórnik Castle & Rogalin Palace (4 Hours)

After picking you up at your hotel in Poznan, we'll travel 25 km (15.5 mi) south to the magnificent Kórnik Castle, founded in the 15th century and rebuilt in the 19th century in the English Gothic style. This residence, which once belonged to the aristocratic Zamoyski family, houses a collection of furniture, paintings and national memorabilia. We'll take a stroll through the elegant Arboretum park, which has a rich collection of unique trees and exotic plants.

Afterwards, we'll go to Rogalin Palace to visit its splendid landscaped gardens, which house the largest collection of oak trees in Europe. Nearby, you can admire the Rococo-Neoclassical palace of the Raczyński family, dating from the 18th century.

Entrance fees: this activity includes tickets to the Kórnik Castle and the Rogalin Palace.

Greater Poland Day Trip (8 Hours)

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Poznań and head towards the region of Greater Poland, known as Wielkopolska in Polish. Our first stop will be in Gniezno, which used to be the country's capital. After visiting the cathedral- the city's most impressive monument- we'll head to Biskupin, a notable archaeological site where you'll be able to learn about life in this part of the world during the Bronze Age.

After stopping for lunch, we'll then board a steam train which will take us to Wenecja. In this small town, we'll visit the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum- you're sure to be amazed! Finally, we'll head back to your hotel in Poznań.

Entrance fees: this tour includes entrance fees to Gniezno Cathedral ( 3 (US$ 3.49) per person), the Biskupin archaeological complex ( 3 (US$ 3.49) per person) and the Wenecja Narrow Gauge Railway Museum ( 2.50 (US$ 2.91) per person).

Torún Day Trip (10 Hours)

After picking you up at your hotel in Poznan, we'll travel directly to Torún: the birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus. We'll take a stroll through the old town of this beautiful city, declared a World Heritage Site, to follow in the footsteps of the astronomer who revolutionised 16th-century Europe. We'll review his main milestones by visiting the Copernicus House Museum. We'll also visit Torún Cathedral to climb the bell tower and enjoy the beautiful views of the Polish city from its viewpoint.

After the guided tour of Torún, you'll have free time to have lunch on your own. In the afternoon, we'll meet again to return to the different hotels in Poznan.

Important Info:

  • Specific closing days: the Copernicus House Museum is closed on Mondays, while the tower of Toruń Cathedral is not open to the public between November and March.
  • On the day of the day trip, you'll need to pay separately for admission to the Copernicus House Museum ( 3 (US$ 3.49) per person) and the tower of Toruń Cathedral ( 2 (US$ 2.33) per person).

Warsaw Day Trip (10 Hours)

After booking, the local team will provide you with train tickets so that you can travel independently from Poznan to the Polish capital. Your guide will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall of Warsaw Central Station to begin a panoramic bus tour of the city's most iconic sights. During this tour, we'll pass through the bucolic Lazienki Park on our way to Warsaw's historic centre, where we'll enjoy a walking tour through its picturesque streets. Among the most important monuments in the old town are the Royal Castle of Warsaw, St. John's Cathedral and the Barbican. Three essential witnesses to the city's history!

In the afternoon, after a few minutes of free time for you to have lunch on your own, we'll continue our tour of the Polish capital towards Warsaw's New Town. In this part of the city, we'll see the Grand Opera House and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, among other notable sites. The guided tour will end at Warsaw Central Station, where we'll give you your train tickets so that you can finally return to Poznan on your own.

Entrance fees: admission to Warsaw's Royal Castle, which is closed every Monday between October and April, is not included. The individual ticket price is 7.50 (US$ 8.74).

Hotel Pickup

The day trips to Greater Poland and Torún are tours on a bus or minibus and include hotel pick up and drop off from hotels in the centre of Poznań. The day trip to Warsaw is via train, and you'll meet your guide at the train station in the Polish capital.
