Fantastic. Beautiful views all the way and plenty of time for sightseeing, which was absolutely worth it. It's a marvel. Our guide, Andrea, was lovely and professional, very attentive throughout. Our driver, Pepe, was very friendly and the whole trip was perfect; he took us on all kinds of roads without a single sudden stop or any problems.

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at the meeting point in Santiago de Compostela and set off on this day trip to Fisterra and Muxía. Let's go!

First, we'll head to the Fisterra Lighthouse, built in the mid-19th century. Right here, at the End of the World viewpoint, you'll also find kilometer 0 of the Camino de Santiago. Photo op!

We'll take in some incredible views of the Costa da Morte and, after 1 hour exploring the area, we'll hop on the bus to the town of Fisterra. You'll have 1 hour and 15 minutes of free time to grab lunch and walk around. Take the chance to stroll through the port, check out the 12th-century Church of Nuestra Señora de las Arenas, and admire the facade of the San Carlos Castle.

Our next stop will be Muxía. Joined by our guide, we'll visit the Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Barca, which has a very special connection to the Camino de Santiago. We'll tell you all about this story and talk about the magical and religious significance of the enormous stones next to the temple.

After a total of 6.5 to 7 hours, we'll wrap up the day trip back at our starting point.
