At the indicated time, we'll meet at the NDSM ferry terminal, where the ship will be waiting to take you across the port of Amsterdam.
Once we set off, we'll begin to get an idea of the true size of the Port of Amsterdam - which spent hundreds of years as a vital trading point. We'll learn more about the port's history, thanks to an English audio guide which will be available to listen to during the cruise!
During the cruise, we'll journey through the storied history of this immense port, from the 14th century to the present day - we'll also spend some time discussing its future. As we sail, you'll see huge ships in loading and unloading areas, old shipyards and the world's largest cocoa warehouse.
