Tour of Provence
We'll depart by minibus at 8:30 am from the Julius Caesar Hotel in Arles to go to Pont du Gard, one of the best-preserved Roman aqueducts in Europe, built over 2,000 years ago!
The tour will continue to the Roman remains of Les Antiques de Saint Rémy, an 'arch de triumph' and mausoleum that marked the entrance to the ancient Roman city of Glanum.
We'll travel from the Roman era to the Middle Ages by visiting Les Baux de Provence, a citadel that stands on the hills of Les Alpilles. Here you'll enjoy free time to walk around the centre, visit the many art galleries and eat in a local restaurant.
Our next stop will be the famous Lavender Museum, founded in 1991, where we'll learn the secrets of this Provencal plant with original workshops and activities. Then, we'll visit Gordes, to take photos so that you can capture one of the best memories of Provence.
The final stop will be the charming town of Roussillon, which is located on one of the largest ochre cliffs in the world. You'll walk through its streets and admire the colourful houses!
The tour will end arriving in Arles at 6:30 pm.
