Bariloche Electric Bike Tour
Activity Details
After meeting at the entrance to Cerro Catedral, we'll assign you electric bikes and helmets, and we'll start cycling comfortably towards the lush forests of Bariloche. Let's go!
The route, spanning between 20 and 25 km (approximately 12.4 to 15.5 mi) in total, will first take us to the Knapp refuge, located in the heart of Villa Catedral. From here, we'll enter the Patagonian forest and head towards the reservoir and the Casa de Piedra River. A hidden treasure of Bariloche!
Crossing trails surrounded by lenga and coihue trees guarded by the snow-capped peaks of the mountain range, we'll approach the shore of Lake Moreno. During the tour, we'll make strategic stops to capture snapshots of this impressive natural setting.
After an easy ride on electric bikes, we'll reach Casa de Piedra. Here, you'll have 45 minutes of free time to explore the riverbank and relax to the sound of the water.
What's more, if we do the route on a Wednesday or Sunday, you'll have the opportunity to visit the Colonia Suiza fair and discover the festive atmosphere of this charming town.
Lastly, we'll cycle back to Cerro Catedral, admiring the contrast of the mountains and lakes once again. The tour will end after a total of 3 hours at the initial meeting point.
