Do you like water sports? If you're in Bariloche, don't hesitate to rent a kayak or a paddle board. You'll have the opportunity to paddle through the calm waters of Bahía López, surrounded by the overwhelming snow-capped peaks that guard Nahuel Huapi Lake.
From the water, you'll enjoy a unique view of the city and the surrounding Patagonian vegetation. On a sunny day, you'll be able to see the reflection of the blue sky and the mountains on the water, creating a sense of calm and connection with nature.
For the hour-long rental, you'll be able to discover corners of Lake Moreno, with its small stone beaches and forests stretching to the shore.
You can paddle calmly a few metres away from spectacular forests of coihues and lengas, while the steep walls of the hills stretch out like a natural amphitheatre. In the distance, you'll see the Goye or Bella Vista mountains—Don't forget to take pictures!
Activity Options
When making your booking, you can opt for one of the following options:
- Single kayak rental: in this option, you'll have a single kayak, an oar and a life jacket with a whistle.
- Double kayak rental: you'll have a double kayak, oars and life jackets with a whistle. When booking, keep in mind that the prices indicated are per person, not per kayak.
- Paddle board rental: you'll have a paddle board, an oar and a life jacket with a whistle.
Kayak or Paddle Board + Bike Rental (7 Hours)
When booking, you can add 6 hours of bike rental to the paddle board or kayak ride. Cycling along trails through forests, crystal clear lakes and snow-capped mountains offers breathtaking views. Imagine visiting the Panoramic Point or the Bahia Lopez viewpoint on a mountain bike, where the panoramic views of Centinela Island and Cerro Lopez spread out in all their splendour.
You can also visit the historic Colonia Suiza and pass by the iconic Berlina Brewery. Bariloche also offers special routes such as the Circuito Chico, ideal for a relaxed ride in search of the Llao-Llao Hotel and the bridge over Lake Moreno. The pictures are postcard-perfect!
