Discover the secrets of the famous wine of Burgundy with this fantastic tour of Cote de Beaune, one of the most famous wine-growing regions in the interior of France.
Cote de Beaune Wine Tour
We will meet up at 10 am in front of the Hospices de Beaune: a former 15th-century hospice called Hôtel-Dieu and one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. We will visit the museum located inside this architectural jewel, where you will learn about its long and fascinating history.
After visiting the Hospices de Beaune, we will drive to a traditional Côte de Beaune country house. This region of Burgundy is famous for its excellent wines, whose aromas, nuances and flavors have their own stamp of identity. In this house surrounded by vineyards, we will enjoy a typical French lunch that includes a selection of products from the region. Of course, these delicacies will be accompanied by various types of delicious Burgundy wines.
After eating, we will visit a family winery in the Côte de Beaune. You will explore the rooms where the barrels are stored and enjoy a tasting of the different red and white wines that are produced here - a real treat for the palate!
Finally, we will return by minibus to the original starting point in Beaune, arriving at 5 pm.
This tour begins at 12:30 pm at the Hospices de Beaune. After visiting this historical monument of Burgundy, we will follow the same itinerary as the full-day tour. The only difference will be that we will spend less time visiting the family winery and therefore the tastings will be less. The arrival back in the center of Beaune is scheduled for 4.30 pm.
