At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at one of the designated meeting points and set off by bus toward the Great Wall of China, heading specifically to the Mutianyu section—get ready for a literal experience of a lifetime!
Along the way, we’ll share interesting insights about this legendary structure, which dates back to the 5th century. The journey takes about an hour and a half, offering a comfortable ride to one of the world’s most iconic landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Upon arrival, we’ll skip the long lines and head straight in, giving you free time to do a self-guided exploration of Mutianyu—one of the most stunning and less crowded sections of the wall, known for its dramatic mountain scenery.
You can challenge yourself with a 6-kilometer hike to one of the highest towers, or, if you prefer, purchase a ticket on-site for the cable car and take in the views as you ride up. Whether you go on foot or by cable car, the experience will be unforgettable.
After your time at the wall, we’ll return to the bus for the journey back to Beijing, dropping you off at Dongzhimen Subway Station. The full excursion lasts between 6 and 8.5 hours, depending on the option you choose.
Meeting Points & Schedules
Please note that, depending on the time you select during the booking process, this day trip has a different meeting point and duration as follows:
- Morning Day Trip: If you select the option that leaves in the morning, we'll pick you up and drop you off at Dongzhimen Subway Station. You'll have 5 hours of free time at the Great Wall, and the total duration of the day trip will be 8.5 hours.
- Afternoon Day Trip: If you select the option that leaves in the afternoon, we'll pick you up at the Prime Hotel Beijing and drop you off at the Dongzhimen Subway Station. You'll have 2.5 hours of free time at the Great Wall, and the total duration of the day trip will be 6 hours.

If you select the morning day trip, then you’ll also have the option to include a delicious Chinese buffet lunch at Mubus Restaurant—perfect for recharging after your adventure. You'll enjoy a delicious taste of authentic Chinese cuisine—the perfect way to complete your day at the Great Wall.
