What does Berlin taste like? At the designated time, we'll meet at the Das Lemke restaurant, located at the square of Alexanderplatz, to answer this question and start our food tour of the German capital.
The first restaurant we'll visit will be Nordsee, where we'll enjoy a matjes baguette, a mouthwatering sandwich made of soft, marinated herring. Then, we'll go to the Das Lemke restaurant to try a Hoppel Poppel, also known as Bauernfrühstück. This is a generous dish of sautéed potatoes, eggs, and onions.
Afterward, we'll set off to Späti to enjoy a Fritz Schorle, a fruit soft drink with a natural flavor. Later, we'll go to Mustafa's Can to enjoy an authentic döner bebab of meat, vegetables, and delicious sauces.
Next, we'll head to the Curry 61 restaurant, a famous restaurant where you'll enjoy a classic currywurst, a beloved dish of sausages cut into slices bathed in spiced ketchup with curry powder: simple, delicious, and truly a Berlin dish.
To wrap up our food tour, we'll enjoy a sweet ending at SammyS Berliner Donuts., where you'll try the delicious Berliner donuts, ending this 2.5-hour tour.
