Tour Details
Just arrived in Bled and don't know where to start? At the indicated time, we'll meet you at number 13 Cesta Svobode and begin this free tour in which we'll dive into the fascinating history of one of Slovenia's most famous destinations.
We'll start strolling through the streets of this little town on the shores of Lake Bled at the foot of the Julian Alps. During the visit, we'll tell you some of its most surprising stories, learning about the architectural heritage and religious importance of this town. The Provost's house, the Sexton's house or the Hermitary will be some of the places we'll pass by.
Afterwards, we'll walk along a wooden footbridge to enjoy the beautiful views of the lake. At this point, we'll admire the Blejski Otok island, where the
Church of the Mother of God on the Lake stands out. Without a doubt, a corner that looks like something out of a fairy tale.
Throughout the tour, we'll also tell you about Bled's deep-rooted traditions, such as the importance of its traditional pletna boats, its music, its way of life and its gastronomy. We'll also stop at some of its viewpoints for you to take amazing pictures.
After a 2-hour free tour of Bled, we'll say goodbye at Veslaška promenada.
