Enjoy the best views of Bordeaux when you climb up to the top of Tour Pey Berland, the magnificent bell tower of the City's gothic Cathedral.
What to expect?
The ticket to Tour Pey-Berland gives you access to one of the iconic landmarks of Bordeaux: the gothic bell tower of St. Andrew's Cathedral. After climbing up 233 steps, you will reach the top of the monument, where you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view across the capital of New Aquitaine.
Inside the tower, you will enjoy the permanent exhibition which will teach you all about the history of the bells and the tower, which was named after the archbishop who ordered its construction in the 15th century.
You will learn all about how the vibrations of the bells are so powerful that they could destroy the structure of the Cathedral. This is the reason why the tower was built separately from the cathedral.
