Boston Food Tour
Tour Details
Are you ready to dive into Boston's delicious food scene? If so, at the indicated time, we'll meet in front of the Boston Public Market. What better place to start this food tour through the capital of Massachusetts?
In this market, we'll discover how the atmosphere comes alive among stalls of cheeses, breads and the classic Bostonian clam chowder and baked beans. Did you know that these beans have Puritan roots from the 17th century?
After this visit, a few steps away we'll find ourselves in Haymarket, a market that has been in operation since 1830. Every Friday and Saturday, the market is filled with the voices of vendors, bargaining and lots of fruits and vegetables at surprisingly low prices. This place is iconic!
Afterward, we'll walk to the Blackstone Block, one of the oldest corners of the city. Its cobblestones and historic facades will take us on a journey back to 18th century Boston. Next, we'll pass by the Holocaust Memorial and admire its glass towers as we make our way to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall.
There, we'll find the most authentic dishes: lobster rolls, mac & cheese with lobster, giant pretzels and classic hot dogs among small restaurants and street musicians. After treating yourself to some delicacies, we'll take a stroll along the Rose Kennedy Greenway—the perfect way to ease digestion before our next stop!
Next, we'll visit a small Italian shop serving traditional paninis while learning about the immigrant spirit that shaped Boston. Lastly, we'll pass the Paul Revere House and the Old North Church on our way to Parziale Bakery where you can get yourself a sweet treat to end the tour with.
Finally, we'll say our goodbyes after a delicious 2-hour tour.
