Chicago Panoramic Bus Tour

Did you know that the South Side gets its name from its location to the South of the Chicago River? We'll begin tour at The Palmer House, where we'll climb aboard our bus and make our way to our first stop: The Art Institute of Chicago.

As well as being one of the oldest and largest art museums in the United States, this is also where you can find the sign which marks the start point of the famous Route 66 - linking Chicago and California.

Then we'll make our way to the Financial District via Michigan Avenue, arriving at Grant Park, known as 'Chicago's lung' for its greenery and vast scope.

With buildings and history our backdrop, the tour continues to the banks of the majestic Lake Michigan, the second largest of the five American Great Lakes. Nearby, you'll find the home of ex-President Barack Obama, before passing through Jackson Park and the Chicago University.

Before crossing over the river to explore the North Side, we'll visit the famous 'Cloud Gate' sculpture, whose mirror-like surface reflects the buildings of the city.

Then we'll check out some of the best-known skyscrapers in the city, such as the Wrigley Building, Tribune Tower and the Marina City towers.

The tour then moves on to the Graceland Cemetery, and Wrigley Field, the city's popular baseball stadium. And of course, no visit to Chicago's North Side would be complete without a visit to the Magnificent Mile - Chicago's main shopping street. The tour then finishes back at the start point after four hours of unforgettable sightseeing.
