First, we'll stroll through one of the most popular images of the province of Toledo: the Cerro Calderico de Consuegra. This hill is home to 12 picturesque windmills, the symbol par excellence of this region. We'll learn about the operation of the mills as well as their relevance to the town and their relationship with the famous work of Miguel de Cervantes, Don Quixote de La Mancha.

After discussing the noble and ancient art of milling, we'll approach the Castle of Consuegra, also known as the Castle of La Muela. We'll explore this 10th-century fortress and travel back in time to discover its close relationship with the Order of St. John of Jerusalem.

To complete the tour, we'll discover the history of Consuegra, as well as its great heritage, in the Archaeological Museum of Consuegra. Do you know about its Roman origins?

We'll tell you the stories of the battles fought in Consuegra and the power struggles and conflicts of the past. Then, we'll conclude the private tour at the Cerro Calderico after two and a half hours of sightseeing.
