The truth is that in the end if you want to do excursions outside of Copenhagen it is worth it. And it's great not to queue, especially the one at Tivoli. Highly recommended!!

The Copenhagen Card will help you save time and money in the Danish capital, and includes free entry to 89 museums and monuments, as well as unlimited use of public transport!

The Copenhagen Card

The 10 most popular attractions are:

  • Canal boat cruise
  • The Tivoli Gardens
  • The  Amalienborg Museum
  • The Christianborg Palace
  • Frederiksborg Castle
  • Rosenborg Castle
  • Kronborg Castle
  • Copenhagen Zoo
  • The Round Towe
  • The National Museum

Tickets to these attractions alone make up nearly 150 (US$ 152.80), but the card gives you access to even more, such as the City Hall Tower, the Roskilde Cathedral, or the Glyptoteket. Clicking this link you can see all the attractions and discounts in bars and restaurants included in the tourist pass.

All this helps you to save money on your visit to Copenhagen.

Skip the Lines

The Copenhagen Card means priority access to the best museums and monuments in the Danish capital, skipping the lines as you go.

Unlimited Public Transport

The card also allows you to get on and off public transport at will between 24, 48, 72, 96 or 120 hours, including trains, buses and the Copenhagen Region Metro.

This card also gives you free access to or from Copenhagen airport, as well as being valid for train travel to the beautiful surrounding towns of Roskilde, Hillerød or Helsingør. Here you can find the Museum of Viking Boats, the Frederiksborg Castle and the Kronborg Castle respectively.

How does it work?

Your Copenhagen Card is activated when used for the first time, whether this is in public transport or in a museum or monument. From this moment onwards, you can take advantage of the card during the first 24, 48, 72, 96 or 120 hours depending on the duration of the card.

Where can I pick up the card?

You'll need to display your Civitatis booking voucher at one of the four Copenhagen Card Offices. There, you'll be handed the card which will be activated the moment you use it for the first time.

It is essential that you go to one of the four offices above to pick up the card, as this is the only way you will be able to enjoy all its benefits.
