We'll pick you up at your hotel in Cusco at the indicated time to start this excursion to Chinchero.
After introductions, we'll board a comfortable vehicle and set off on the hour-long journey to Chinchero, an ideal town to connect with Andean culture. Welcome to the Sacred Valley of the Incas!
As soon as we arrive, the locals will give us a warm welcome and we'll begin a walking route along the shores of the Piuray Lagoon with the friendly alpacas and llamas. Did you know that this environment is home to a great diversity of birds? While we walk, we'll tell you all kinds of curiosities about this place in the Peruvian Andes.
We'll walk through ancient trails leading to sacred sites and enjoy wonderful views of the Sacred Valley. During the tour, we'll seek to connect with the past and with nature while traditional Andean music plays.
Before returning to Chinchero, we'll have a delicious picnic lunch of baked chicken, potatoes, salad and bread. Bon appetit! Then, we'll pass by the exterior of the archaeological park of Chinchero as we head back to Cusco.
After seven to eight hours of exploring, we'll arrive back at your hotel in Cusco.
