The Classic Experience Circuit
When booking, you'll be able to choose between the following options:
- Route 2A – Full Classic Route: The most popular option. It takes you through most of the archaeological complex and includes the iconic postcard view of Machu Picchu, as well as an exclusive descent to see the Temple of the Sun, the Sacred Rock, and the Hall of Mirrors. The tour lasts 2.5 hours
- Route 2B – Lower Terrace: Similar to 2A, but taking you through the agricultural terraces where you can often see llamas grazing. Once inside the citadel, this route stays on the higher trail and passes by the Inca Quarry, an archaeological site where stones were extracted. It lasts 2.5 hours.
