We took the afternoon tour. Our guide, Azeem Khan, was incredible. He is an amazing driver and an excellent photographer. He explained us all the tour and showed us all the activities in the camp. I fully recommend this tour. The best thing that I did in Dubai.

L’organizzazione è perfetta, l’escursione piena di cose da fare. Prima un giretto sul quad (extra) per chi vuole, poi il dune bashing, l’autista è stato bravissimo, è molto divertente. Aunque finalmente la impresión general no es desastrosa digamos que hay aspectos que son bastante negativos. La duración debería ser menor (tanto como dos horas); el paso por el “punto de encuentro” es peligroso por “turistada” (ojo que te clavan por ponerte los pañuelitos de rigor en la cabeza), la experiencia en las dunas es muy corta. La cena correcta y el supuesto espectáculo musical es prescindible. No puedo desaconsejarlo pero iría con bajas expectativas.

Although the overall impression isn't disastrous, there are some rather negative aspects. The duration should have been shorter (as much as two hours); the passage through the "meeting point" is dangerous due to "tourism" (be careful, they'll stab you for wearing the obligatory headscarves); the dune experience is very short. The dinner was decent, and the supposed musical show was dispensable. I can't advise against it, but I would go with low expectations.

Lo que no ha estado bien es el “timing”: Llegas a la parada para empezar el tour (como a las 4 aprox) y nadie te avisa previamente de que hay opción de ir en buggie (pagando un extra); pero, lo quieras o no te obligan a esperar 45min. Después vas con prisa en el 4x4 y casi no te da tiempo a disfrutar de las increíbles vistas del desierto, hacerte fotos con tranquilidad o darte un pequeño paseo porque hay q llegar antes del sunset a la otra ubic. The desert safari was 5 stars! Sadiq was a caring and kind guide who supported us throughout the experience. The camp was amazing with lots of activities to do. In our tour we spent over 3 hours in the camp, where we tried different traditional delicacies and drinks. The dune bashing, camel ride, and star gazing was also really good. Definitely a must do!
