Edinburgh Ghost Tour
Tour Details
Wars, murders, witch burnings, and many other gruesome periods throughout Edinburgh's history have made it a notoriously haunted city.
This walking tour will begin at the designated time near the Royal Mile, Edinburgh's most famous historic street. Once the sun goes down, the ghosts of the city's former residents seem to come alive, and we'll be right there to hear their stories. You'll also get to see some of the city's most iconic monuments beautifully lit up at night, a stunning (if slightly creepy) way to experience them.
Throughout the tour, the guide will thrill you with macabre, twisted tales from days gone by. You'll visit iconic execution sites and learn about the dark period of the witch trials, when torture and executions were the norm. We'll also explore some of the city's most haunted spots, like its famous graveyards, cursed bridges, and dark corners that hide Edinburgh's most sinister secrets.
Along the way, you'll hear chilling stories of unsolved murders, notorious criminals, and the heroes who put an end to their evil deeds. You'll also discover which ghosts and phantoms are still said to be lurking around today.
After approximately 2 to 3 hours, our tour of Edinburgh's mysteries and secrets will come to an end on the Royal Mile.
