We'll start our adventure by promptly picking you up at your hotel in Fortaleza. Our day includes an exciting dune buggy tour of the pristine desert beaches of Ceará, starting at Águas Belas.
Then after about a two-hour trip, we'll arrive at the beautiful Águas Belas beach. This hidden gem is bound to captivate you with its enchanting natural pools that emerge during low tide, inviting you for a refreshing swim. Fun fact: Águas Belas is the meeting point of the Malcozinhado River and the Atlantic Ocean, creating a mesmerizing natural wonder.
As our journey continues, we'll visit local weavers, integral to Ceará's rich artisanal heritage. Here, you'll have the opportunity to delve deeper into the region's cultural traditions. Moving forward, we'll explore a sugar cane mill, where you'll see how they make panela and various sugar-related products.
We'll cross the river by raft to arrive at our exciting hour-and-a-half dune buggy tour through Barra Nova. We'll explore 8 kilometers (4.9 miles) of desert beaches before arriving at our destination. Once there, we'll jump into the fresh waters of the lagoon.
After concluding the activities, we'll return to ensure you reach your Fortaleza hotel safely, wrapping up a memorable day spanning approximately 10 hours.
