Activity Details
Ready to paddle along one of Fortaleza's most beautiful beaches? We'll start this activity on the Ceará coast at number 3211 Avenida Beira Mar, where we'll gear up with life jackets and go over some basic techniques and safety guidelines for handling the board and paddle.
After this brief introduction, we'll head out onto the water at Praia de Iracema, one of Fortaleza's main urban beaches! If you choose to join us in the early hours of the morning, you'll enjoy the refreshing sea breeze that typically blows here at that time of day.
If you opt for a late afternoon session instead, you'll get to watch the sky turn shades of orange, violet, and scarlet as the sun sets over this corner of Fortaleza. Either way, as we paddle along, we'll take in the iconic sights of the beach, including the famous statue of guardian Iracema.
While out on the water, we'll also be able to spot other symbols of Praia de Iracema from a distance, such as the Ponte dos Ingleses and the Centro Dragão do Mar de Arte e Cultura.
Finally, after 1 hour on the water, we'll head back to the meeting point and return all the equipment.
