Below, you can read the details of each trip:
Gruyères Trip (7 hours)
From Geneva, we will head to the village of Gruyères, a beautiful town in the heart of the Fribourg Alps. We will take a guided tour through the historic town center until we reach the majestic medieval castle of Gruyères, and beautiful St. Theodul's church.
We will take you to the La Maison du Gruyère cheese factory which you can visit on your own (entrance fee not included). You then have one hour to eat in Gruyères before the tour concludes with a visit to the Maison Cailler chocolate factory (entrance fee not included).
Interlaken Trip (9 hours)
This trip takes you to the beautiful town of Interlaken, one of the top tourist destinations in Switzerland. Along the way, we will drive along the shores of Lake Thun and see Oberhofen Castle, an impressive medieval fort. Once we arrive in Interlaken, we will visit the Augustine monastery of Schlosskirche, the Kirchgemeinde church, and the Kursaal Casino. We will also stroll along the banks of the Aare River, stopping at the idyllic Hohbühl Pavillon which offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Finally, you will have around three hours of your own free time to have something to eat, or continue exploring the city on your own.
Chamonix and Montreux Trip (9 hours)
We will pick you up at your hotel in Geneva before setting off to the picturesque French town of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. Upon arriving, we will take a guided tour of the main landmarks, such as the Church of St. Michael and the sculpture of Jacques Balmat. Then, following about two hours of your own free time, we will return to Switzerland, and head to Chillon Castle where we make a brief stop.
Our next stop is Montreux, just 10 minutes from the castle. You will hear the curious story behind why it was decided to erect a statue of Freddie Mercury here. Then, once we have seen the most iconic places of Montreux, we will return to Geneva.
