Explore the most iconic places in Scotland's largest city: Glasgow. You'll get to visit its monuments, find out about its culture and hear interesting anecdotes from the guide, all for free!

Free Tour of Glasgow

We'll meet at the specified time in George Square; one of the liveliest places in Glasgow. A few metres away we'll come across Glasgow Cathedral, the city's landmark. Do you know who Kentirgen was? You'll find out as we stand outside this magnificent building that marked the beginning of Glasgow's development.

We'll continue our tour admiring the Victorian and industrial buildings that reflect a time when Glasgow was known as "the second city of the empire". One of the monuments that best represents this historic period is the City Chambers, inaugurated in 1888 by Queen Victoria.

From here, we'll make our way through Glasgow following the footsteps of the famous artist and architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh. We'll pass by several of this famous architect's works!

Our last stop will be at the prestigious University of Glasgow. This is one of the city's most popular attractions, as well as the fourth oldest university in the English-speaking world. Did you know that Adam Smith and several Nobel prize winners studied here?

The free tour will end outside the university.

Free tours do not have a fixed price, rather each person offers the guide the amount they consider appropriate, depending on their level of satisfaction.
