Description
Enjoy this incomparable experience of Puerto Mogán in the south of Gran Canaria. You'll board the Golden Shark, a real yellow submarine measuring 60 feet (18 m) in length and 12 feet (4 m) in width, which will take you to the depths of the Atlantic Ocean.
Down on the sea floor, around 82 feet (25 m) deep, you'll spend approximately 40 minutes admiring the surrounding marine life. Through the many windows and portholes, you can observe the diverse underwater fauna native to this area of the Canarian archipelago that made their homes among the shipwrecks.
To top it all off, the most exciting part of the submarine adventure is the Atlantida Submarine Park – Gran Canaria's very first artificial reef. This project was born to rejuvenate the seabed, and you'll witness a captivating display there. They artfully depict the remains of an ancient civilization. Who knows, it might spark your imagination, wondering if this could be the fabled Atlantis?
As well as enjoying the views of life under the Atlantic, each passenger will have a television screen to watch and follow the submarine's fascinating maneuvers as it descends to the ocean floor and ascends back to the surface.
