If you want to spend a day in touch with nature, our Camino Real Hike is the perfect activity for you. We'll set off from Guaduas and learn all about local stories and legends while exploring the green scenery of Cundinamarca.
Camino Real Hike
At your chosen time, we'll meet on Calle 4 and start our fascinating hiking route along the Camino Real de Guaduas.
After hopping into our vehicle, we'll spend 30 minutes driving to the legendary Guaduas Way. When we arrive, we'll start walking along this 422-year-old road. Off we go!
As we walk, we'll tell you how the Camino Real was constructed during the colonial period. We'll also note the municipalities through which it passes. This iconic path is the most well-preserved of its kind in Colombia and is also renowned for its historic significance.
Throughout our 2.5-mile (4-kilometre) route, we'll follow in the footsteps of all the figures who've passed through here and learn about their traditions, legends and myths.
Our hike will finish at the Capira Viewpoint where you'll admire incredible views of Cundinamarca's lush greenery through a telescope. Don't forget your camera!
Having spent 3 hours exploring this beautiful trail, we'll say our goodbyes back at the meeting point.
