Stanley Boat Trip

Sail around Hong Kong on a majestic traditional Chinese junk ship and discover Stanley, a picturesque coastal town on the south of the island.

Stanley Boat Trip Itinerary

Setting sail from Central at 12 pm, or from Tsim Sha Tsui at 12:15 pm, you'll cruise around the island of Hong Kong on board the Aqua Luna. After a 90-minute journey, you'll arrive in Stanley, a small town on the south of the island. During your cruise, you'll also be offered a drink to enjoy as you admire the spectacular views.

In Stanley, you'll have two hours of free time to explore the coastal town at your own pace. Stroll along its beautiful waterfront promenade, haggle for bargains in the famous market, visit Tin Hau Temple or marvel at Murray House, one of Hong Kong's oldest buildings.

The return boat will depart from Stanley at 3:30 pm, arriving at Central Pier at 5 pm and Tsim Sha Tsui at 5:15 pm. You'll be served a drink on the return journey too - cheers!

One-way cruise

If you'd prefer a flexible return time or want to spend more time in Stanley, you can reserve a one-way boat trip to the town. Then, when you're ready to return to Hong Kong Central, you can make your own way back by bus (lines 6, 6A, 6X and 260).

The Aqua Luna

The Aqua Luna is a Chinese sailing ship known as a junk, built by hand according to traditional methods. Its construction took a total of 18 months and was supervised by expert Chinese naval engineers. It has a maximum capacity of 80 passengers.
