After meeting up at 9:30 am at the King Kamehameha statue in the city centre, we'll set off on our free walking tour of Honolulu. Are you ready to discover the capital of Hawaii?
First of all, we'll hear all about the history of this important Hawaiian king and his significance to the island of Oahu. We'll then head to Ali'iolani Hale, the seat of Hawaii's State Supreme Court.
Throughout the free tour, we'll also visit other landmarks in the city such as the 'Iolani Palace, the former royal residence of the rulers of the Kingdom of Hawaii, the Hawaii State Library, Kawaiaha'o Church and City Hall. As we admire their architecture, our guide will reveal more fascinating facts about the history of the state.
After an hour and a quarter exploring the streets of Honolulu and discovering their secrets, you'll feel like a true expert and local of the Hawaiian capital. The free walking tour will come to an end at 10:45 am next to the tomb of King Lunalilo.
