la excursión al amazonas me pareció una especie de circo. te llevan a conocer a una supuesta tribu que vive en el amazonas, pero eso no es más que un espectáculo que preparan para sacar el dinero a los turistas. Te hacer bailar con ellos, te hacen tirar una flecha y venga... a comprar pendientes o pulseras y gastar pasta.. Lo peor para mí fue que tenían un perezoso bebé en brazos y te pedían dinero para hacerte fotos con él. El animal tiene que estar con su madre en la selva y no de mano en mano

The Amazon excursion felt like a circus to me. They take you to meet a supposed tribe that lives in the Amazon, but it's nothing more than a show they put on to squeeze money out of tourists. They make you dance with them, they make you shoot an arrow, and then... off you go to buy earrings or bracelets and spend a fortune. The worst part for me was that they had a baby sloth in their arms and they asked for money to take pictures with it. The animal should be with its mother in the jungle, not passed from hand to hand.

Pésimo, el operador local no me recogió y cuando logré hablar con el, casi una hora después, me dijo que ni siquiera sabía. Requiero el reintegro íntegro de lo pagado.

Las actividades como la tribu, navegar por el amazonas, la comida excelente en un poblado en medio del amazonas, y el serpentario con todos los animales la verdad que merece cada centimo que pagas, pero por otra parte la organizacion es un caos, nos pasan a buscar 40 min mas tarde de lo acordado, y despues todo el tour esperando, ya que la barca no es exclusiva del tour sino que tambien es un ''taxi'' para gente que se mueve de poblados del amazonas a iquitos, osea que pierdes 1:30/2h esperando Translate this opinion into English.

Es un buen daytour para navegar por el río Amazonas y conocer especies de animales amazónicos, en sitios de refugio (no libres en su habitat natural). Se pueden mejorar las instalaciones donde realizan la comida, las mosquiteras estaban rotas y hacía muchísimo calor. En las mismas instalaciones se realizan estancias de varias noches, no obstante por experiencia de otros viajeros en el mismo lodge no lo recomendaríamos ya que no es seguro ni higienico. It is a good daytour to navigate the Amazon River and learn about species of Amazonian animals, in refuge sites (not free in their natural habitat). The facilities where they serve food could be improved, the mosquito nets were broken and it was very hot. Stays of several nights are carried out in the same facilities, however, based on the experience of other travelers in the same lodge, we would not recommend it since it is not safe or hygienic. Really good experience. Our guide, Daniel, was super knowledgable, friendly and keen to communicate in English as well as Spanish. We saw Dolphins, on several occasions in their natural habitat as well as plenty of other species in the various centres we visited. Overall very enjoyable trip, worth the money and the time invested.

This tour is focused on relaxing by the lodge with smaller activities nearby, not deep jungle. Lodge is humble but food and staff are very nice. In dry season the only access is a 30-min walk on mud. The visit to Yahua people is not a visit to the community, but a performance in a place prepared for the event with items to purchase. Coordination could be improved when combining people from other tours.

Amazing experience! The Amazon river is a sight to behold, and the trip was just long enough for a quick glimpse at what it has to offer. Our English guide was very friendly (we recommend learning a bit of Spanish regardless if you plan to travel to anywhere in South America), and we were able to see everything described in the description. Make sure to dress for the weather, and bring bug spray!

Bastante mal, la verdad. El guía bien y todo lo que vimos muy interesantes, pero por algún motivo se saltaron una parada y luego a la vuelta no la pudimos recuperar...de hecho, la embarcación se quedó sin gasolina! Teníamos un vuelo por la noche y realmente pensamos que lo íbamos a perder. No sé puede ir en un transporte a motor con esa falta de previsión, muy mal la empresa.

Pretty bad, really. The guide was good, and everything we saw was very interesting, but for some reason they skipped a stop, and on the way back we couldn't make it up...in fact, the boat ran out of gas! We had a flight that night, and we really thought we were going to miss it. You can't go on a motorized vehicle with that kind of lack of foresight. The company is terrible.
