Day Trip to El Impenetrable National Park
Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Juan José Castelli to set off towards Chaqueño Mountain.
As we arrive at the region La Armonía, we'll reach the entrance gate to El Impenetrable National Park and begin to uncover the secrets of the local fauna, flora, and traditions.
Next, we'll venture into the heart of the park, making strategic stops to take photos and go hiking. As we walk amongst quebracho, carob, and lapacho trees, we'll learn about the species that make up this unique ecosystem.
At noon, we'll reach a restaurant on the banks of the Bermejo River. Here, we'll taste charque empanadas and knife-cut meat, a sample of the regional cuisine. After lunch, we'll follow a path that follows the Bermejo River, identifying the types of trees that thrive in this section of the forest.
Afterwards, those who want can enjoy a kayaking activity on the Bermejo River. Sailing down these calm waters will be a relaxing and exciting way to connect with nature from an alternative viewpoint. If you do not wish to participate, you can walk around the area and explore at your own pace.
At the end of the activity, we'll indulge in a snack made up of natural infusions, paired with typical pancakes made with honey and carob flour. Additionally, we'll visit a trade school, a space dedicated to artisanal works where you can find unique pieces and learn more about local life.
Our day will come to an end back at Juan José Castelli. We'll return to your hotel and say our goodbyes after a total of 13 hours.
