Our hop-on hop-off boat around the Furesø and Vejlesø lakes starts from the Frederiksdal jetty near Nybrovej Street in Kongens Lyngby. All aboard!

Once you're on board, you'll set sail along the Mølleåen stream until you get to Furesø Lake. You'll cross the lake from east to west and also cruise through the small spring of Vejlesø.

The boat trip has a total duration of 1 hour 50 minutes, and you can either take the whole boat trip or hop off at any of its stops to explore the area on foot. There's no limit to the number of trips you take, so you can hop on and off as many times as you like during the day. 

Lake Furesø is the deepest lake in Denmark and is home to 180 different species of birds. You can relax to the sound of the birdsong on the boat while admiring the historic buildings and constructions that line the shore. From the boat, you'll be able to spot the Frederiksdal water mill, which played a key role in the country's industrial development. You'll also see Næsseslottet Castle, which dates back to the 18th century. 

If you feel like relaxing and taking a dip, we recommend hopping off the boat at Furesøbad. Here, you'll find a charming and unique beach next to a forest.

The hop-on hop-off boat around the Furesø and Vejlesø lakes has the following schedule:

• From the Frederiksdal terminal: 10:30 am, 12:30 pm, 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm.
• From the Jægerhuset terminal: 10:50 am, 12:50 am, 2:50 pm and 4:50 pm.
• From the Holte Havn terminal: 11:05 am, 1:05 pm, 3:05 pm and 5:05 pm.
• From the Birkerød Sejlklub terminal: 11:25 am, 1:25 pm, 3:25 pm and 5:25 pm.
• From the Furesøbad terminal: 11:45 am, 1:45 pm, 3:45 pm and 5:45 pm.

How does it work?

Your ticket is valid for 1 day. During this period, you can hop on and off the boat as many times as you like and at all of the ports on the route: Nybro, Sorgenfrivej, Bagsværdvej, Aldershvile or Sophienholm.
