Discover the rugged cliffs and jagged landscape of La Palma on a 5.5-hour hiking tour along the island’s northern coastline.
La Palma Wild Coast Hiking Tour Itinerary
Begin your hike from the Mirador de la Tosca, a beautiful viewpoint where you'll find a small forest of Canary Islands dragon trees.
After taking in the magnificent panoramic views of the northern coast of La Palma, you'll set off on a winding hiking route that snakes along the island's rugged sea cliffs. Throughout your hike along the coastal path, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the wild Atlantic Ocean.
As you walk, you'll discover all sorts of incredible trees and plants, giving you a fascinating insight into the unique botanical environment of the Canary Islands. The curious looking tajinaste, whose name means "needle" in the now-extinct Guanche language of the archipelago, grows in different colours on the different islands! What will it be here?
Finally, you'll make a stop in the village of Gallegos to admire the traditional architecture typical of the north of La Palma.
