Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll meet in front of the Palacio Consistorial to kick off our guided walking tour of La Paz. Ready to explore its most iconic corners? Let's go!

We'll begin at Plaza Murillo, the political and historical center of the country. Surrounded by the stunning Palacio Quemado, the current headquarters of the Bolivian government, the National Congress, and the majestic Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Peace, this square boasts centuries of history and power. Here, you'll discover how this place has witnessed riots, changes of government, and key moments in Bolivia. Did you know presidential executions and important social transformations took place here?

A few steps away is the San Pedro Prison, one of the most unique prisons in the world. From the outside, you'll learn about the curious stories that have turned this place into a symbol of the country's social and judicial reality.

Afterward, we'll hop on the cable car of La Paz, one of the tallest urban networks in the world. During the ride, you'll enjoy spectacular views of the highlands and understand how the cable car system connects neighborhoods and different realities in the same city.

Once we reach El Alto, we'll pass by the Mercado Villa Dolores, where colors, aromas, and sounds create a lively atmosphere. Here, you'll see stands of traditional food, Andean fabrics, and ritual products.

Close by, we'll also visit the Witches' Market, a sacred space where the yatiris give offerings to Pachamama and perform other ancestral rituals. It's a unique opportunity to discover the Andean spirituality to the fullest!

Finally, we'll hop on the cable car again to return to the center of La Paz and say our goodbyes at the Estación Obelisco de Mi Teleférico after 3 hours.
