At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Casco Urbano, in the heart of Miraflores. Once we're all together, we'll give you your bikes and go over some safety measures before starting this food tour of Lima. Ready for an adventure?
We'll start with a stop at the cafetería Terrua, where we'll taste a delicious coffee. Here, we'll learn about the Peruvian coffee tradition and discover how each cup reflects the unique flavour of Peruvian coffee.
Next, we'll hop onto our bikes and head to the BuenaVista Café, where a refreshing chicha morada and a tasty empanada will be waiting for us. This place is perfect for enjoying the authentic Lima hospitality and, as well as that, we'll have spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. You'll love it!
We'll continue our route along the Malecón de Miraflores, one of the most beautiful paths in Lima. Here, we'll cycle next to iconic points such as the Love Park and the La Marina Lighthouse, enjoying the sea views and fresh air.
Our bike route will continue along the malecón until we get to Barranco, the Bohemian neighbourhood of Lima. This district, full of colourful murals and traditional architecture, will fascinate you with its artistic atmosphere. We'll visit the historic taberna Juanito to taste a sausage with Peruvian ham, a classic that you'll love.
Before finishing up, we'll visit the Surquillo Market, where we'll have the opportunity to taste local fruit such as the lúcuma, famous in Peru for its flavour and texture. Lastly, to finish on a high note, we'll go to the Maraparte restaurant, where an exquisite ceviche is waiting for us, the country's most iconic dish made with fish marinated in lemon juice and seasoned with onion and chilli.
After 4 hours in total, we'll return to the departure point.
