Once we've picked you up from the main hotels in the city at 9 am, we'll head north to the archaeological site where the ruins of the sacred city of Caral remain.
Five thousand year old pyramids, temples and astronomical centres will welcome us to the first city of the Americas. Located in the Supe valley, Caral was the cradle of the Andean civilization and is considered the third oldest location with human settlements in the world, after Mesopotamia and Egypt.
After getting to know the Caral civilization in detail, you'll have some an hour of free time for lunch before heading to the Paradise Wetlands area.
We'll visit the Bandurria archaeological complex, an ancient fishing village. As well as seeing pyramids, mounds and areas similar to those of Caral, we'll approach a natural lookout point to make the most of the beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean and the Paradise Lagoon.
The tour will end returning to your hotels in Lima at about 8 pm.
Pick Up
Pick ups will be carried out from all hotels in the following districts:
- Miraflores and San Isidro (between 10 and 40 minutes before the tour starts)
- Hotels in Barranco and other hotels in downtown Lima (between 50 and 65 minutes before the tour starts).
If you're staying in other districts, you'll have to make your way to one of the hotels in the areas indicated at approx. 20 pm.
