Lisbon Tourist Bus Routes & Stops

The Lisbon Tourist Sightseeing Bus has three different routes to choose from with numerous stops along the way, allowing you to hop on and hop off whenever you'd like so you can tailor your trip and explore the city at your own pace. Audioguides offered in English and other languages mean you won't miss any information about the iconic monuments that you'll pass by.

The Panoramic Tour of Lisbon lasts 1 hour and 40 minutes and takes you to see the most important monuments in the Portuguese capital, including some found outside of the historic centre, like the Oceanário and the Hotel Myriad. What's more, you'll see emblematic sites like Praça da Figueira, the National Tile Musuem and Praça do Comércio.

If you'd prefer to see Lisbon from a different perspective, the Tagus Riverbank Tour, which also lasts an hour and 40 minutes, travels to the most picturesque sites along the banks of the river which crosses the Iberian Peninsula. Visit Eduardo VII Park, the Monument to the Discoveries and the Cais do Sodré District.

Finally, the Belém Tour takes you on a 50 minute route around one of Portugal's most famous neighbourhoods. Belém is home to some of Lisbon's most iconic landmarks, like the Belém Tower and the Jerónimos Monastery.

How does it work?

Your Lisbon Tourist Bus ticket will be valid for 24 hours from the time of first use. So, if you first use it on a Monday at 3 pm, it will be valid until the Tuesday at 3 pm.

During this time, you can hop on and hop off the different buses as many times as you'd like. For example, on arriving at the Belém stop, you can get off, visit the Jerónimos Monastery, and then take one of the next buses to continue on to the next stop.

Important information

When making the reservation, you will be asked to specify a date for the use of the ticket, however this date is not fixed: you will have three months from the selected date in which to use the ticket.

After making your purchase, you will receive a voucher by email that you must print and present at the first bus that you get on.

Operating times

Panoramic Tour of Lisbon 

• Every day of the week from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm, with departures every 60 minutes. 
• From November to the 14th of April: from 9 am to 5 pm, departing every 30 minutes.

Tagus Riverbank Tour

• Between November and April: from 9 am to 5:30 pm, with departures every 20 minutes.
• From June to October: from 9 am to 8 pm, departing every 15 minutes (every 30 minutes after 7 pm). 

Belém Tour

• All year: from 10 am to 5:40 pm, departing every 60 minutes.
