Lisbon Day Tour
At 9 am, we'll meet at Largo do Chiado, where we will begin our walking tour through the different neighborhoods that make up Lisbon. In just one day, we'll explore the most emblematic areas of the Portuguese capital and, accompanied by your guide, visit its most important monuments.
In the morning, we'll visit Chiado, the city's most bohemian neighborhood, Barrio Alto, Mouraria and Alfama. We'll enter Sao Roque Church and the Church of São Domingos and enjoy the best panoramic views the city has to offer from the Santa Lucía and São Pedro de Alcântara viewpoints. The vistas from São Jorge Castle will take your breath away!
By the end of the morning we'll have made it to the Baixa district, where we will find Plaça do Rossio. Here we'll see the Teatro Nacional Dona Maria II, the train station and one of the most well-known cafés in Lisbon.
After visiting the famous Praça do Comércio, we'll take a break at 1 pm. You will have an hour and a half of free time to refuel and try the local fare at one of the area restaurants.
Then, we'll continue our tour by visiting two of the city's most characteristic tourist attractions, the Rua Augusta archway and the Santa Justa Elevator. Do you know which of these monuments is associated with the Eiffel Tower? You'll soon find out!
We will also take the tram to Belém, where we'll try the famous 'pasteis de nata' and visit the historic monastery, Mosteiro dos Jerónimos. And of course, we will also go inside Belém Tower and see the Monument to the Discoveries (Padrão dos Descobrimentos).
At 6 pm, the tour will end back at the meeting point.
