Gibraltar Day Trip
Tour Options
When making your reservation, you can choose between the following options:
Day Trip + Rock of Gibraltar
At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up at the meeting point in Málaga and head south toward La Línea de la Concepción. We’ll travel along the Costa del Sol while the guide starts sharing historical facts and curious anecdotes about life in Gibraltar.
Once we arrive in the British territory, we’ll split into small groups to take a panoramic tour of the Rock of Gibraltar. For about an hour and a half, we’ll explore this Natural Reserve by minibus, stopping at viewpoints such as Europa Point. Africa and Europe in a single glance!
We’ll also go inside St. Michael’s Cave, a limestone grotto surrounded by local legends. Of course, no visit to the Rock would be complete without stopping by the monkeys’ den to meet the famous Barbary macaques of Gibraltar.
Finally, we’ll return to the city center, where you’ll have free time to explore the streets and have lunch. Fancy some classic fish and chips? Shopping along Main Street? Or taking photos next to the iconic British phone booths? This is your moment.
We’ll then return to the bus and, after a total of 9 hours, drop you off at the starting point.
Day Trip + Dolphin Watching
With this option, once we arrive in Gibraltar, we’ll board a boat for a dolphin-watching experience. We’ll sail through the Strait of Gibraltar in search of these friendly animals in their natural habitat. Did you know this area is protected as a World Biosphere Reserve?
The boat trip lasts about 1.5 hours. Afterwards, you’ll have time on land to explore Gibraltar at your own pace. It’s the perfect chance to try British food like fish and chips and continue strolling around the city.
You’ll be able to discover this English-flavored city in the heart of the Iberian Peninsula. You can visit Casemates Square, enjoy views of the Rock of Gibraltar from Marina Bay, or go shopping along Main Street.
After 9 hours in total, we’ll be back at the original departure point.
Please note that if you choose the dolphin-watching option, the guided tour of Gibraltar described in the first option is not included.
Self-Guided Day Trip
When booking, you can also choose the self-guided option. In this case, once we arrive in Gibraltar, you’ll have five hours of free time to explore the city on your own. At the scheduled time, we’ll meet again and return to the starting point between nine and eleven hours later.
Please Note
Regarding the free time you'll have to explore the city on your own, if you choose one of the guided options, the amount of free time in Gibraltar will depend on the option selected. Both include free time, but at different times during the day.
