Flamenco Class in Málaga
Class Details
Our flamenco class in Malaga will take place at number 8, Calle Calderería, and will begin with an introduction to the history of this art form and its most distinctive characteristics.
Did you know that the origins of this genre are still considered a mystery? What we do know is that it has been enriched and influenced by many cultures, including Romani, Arab, and Jewish. Additionally, you'll also learn about the intense emotional energy it carries, a feature that makes it so emblematic and has made it part of UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Next, we'll go on to learn the basic steps and fundamental techniques, from graceful turns to powerful stomps, while you discover how to move your arms and hands to make your movements come to life. Each gesture is filled with significance!
To culminate this exciting experience, you'll be guided in creating a simple flamenco choreography, where you'll be able to put into practice all your newly learned moves. Not only will you learn to dance, but you'll also get to feel the music and culture with every move.
Lastly, we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 45 minutes.
