Mérida Free Taco Tour
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Parque de Santa Lucía, in the heart of the historic centre of Mérida, to begin this culinary route. Are you ready to discover the secrets of Yucatecan food?
During the tour, we'll visit 4 key points in the city: the García Rejón Market, the Parque Eulogio Rosado, the Lucas de Gálvez Market and the San Benito Market. At each stop, you'll taste tacos made with the best ingredients of the region. Cochinita pibil, relleno negro and other traditional dishes will be some of the delicacies you'll be able to taste. Every bite will surprise you!
In addition to savouring these delicacies, we'll learn first-hand about the ingredients that make up the Yucatecan cuisine. The stalls we'll visit have been favourites of the locals for over 40 years, which makes them an ideal place to enjoy the authentic gastronomy of Mérida.
As every good feast needs a good accompaniment, you can also try the region's soft drinks made with seasonal fruits, or aguas frescas, as the Mexican people call them.
After 1 hour and 45 minutes, having visited the most emblematic food stalls of Merida, we'll conclude our free taco tour.
