Minca Free Tour
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at Minca Park and, once we're all gathered, we'll begin this free tour of one of the most charming towns in Colombia. Did you know it used to be a settlement for the Tairona Indigenous village? You'll learn about this and more facts on this tour!
Our first stop will be in front of the Parroquia Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro, an architectural and spiritual icon of the town. Here, you'll learn about its history and significance in the local community.
We'll continue walking along the main street of Minca, where we'll find its artisanal shops and some old cafés. During this tour, you'll learn about the daily life of the town's inhabitants and the importance of coffee and cacao in the region.
Afterward, we'll embark on the Marinka Trail to step into the humid tropical forest of Sierra Nevada and witness its vast biodiversity. This trail will lead us to the stunning Cascada Oído del Mundo, "Ear of the World Waterfall," the perfect site to rest and revitalize in nature.
On the way back to the town, we'll stop at a viewpoint with scenic views of Santa Marta and the Caribbean Sea, where you'll admire the landscape's immensity and take the best keepsake pictures. Don't forget your camera!
Finally, we'll return to the starting point, where we'll say goodbye 2.5 and 3 hours after the activity begins.
