In spite of the rain, we had a wonderful tour of Bom Jesus do Monte with Joana. As we found with every guide we've had, the knowledge is far deeper than what the guide can tell us in the short tour time but Joana was able to answer all of our questions. We very much enjoyed the tour. I would have preferred to walk down the steps but the rain was intimidating so we took the slanted funicular. We thought we'd have a view of the steps the whole way down but it passed through trees.
Our driver was on time and very friendly, I couldn't say the same about the weather but obviously the torrential rain wasn't the tours fault but it did mean part of the tour had to be abandoned, but a partial refund was given as compensation. Òur guide took us round Braga and explained all the relevant buildings and sights in an informative and relaxed manner which was great. Well recommended as it was dry and fun in the tuk tuk, and a great oversight to all that Braga has to offer.
