Excursion to Dolceacqua and San Remo
We'll pick you up in your hotel in Monaco and cross the border with Italy to visit San Remo, a beautiful city known for its fishing port and flower market. We'll pass through the old town and its narrow streets while discovering the history of the Italian town.
Our next stop will be the medieval town of Dolceacqua. The first thing you'll see of the place will be the castle that has topped the city since the 12th century. You'll have free time to explore Dolceacqua at your own pace, passing through its streets its bridge and centuries-old buildings.
What's more, you can try the local food in one of the restaurants (not included) or head to the castle to discover its incredible history.
Then we'll head back to the Monaco hotels, arriving around 3:30 pm.
Itinerary Changes
On Fridays, instead of visiting San Remo, we'll visit the Italian town of Ventimiglia. Here we'll see the famous market which takes place on the streets and where the locals offer vegetables, flowers and artisanal products such as cheeses and oils.
