Explore the beautiful landscape of the highest summit in Africa with this trip to Kilimanjaro. This guided hike will take you around the stunning mountain slopes.
Mount Kilimanjaro Day Tour
Once we have collected you from your hotel in Moshi at 8:30 am, we will set off on our one-hour journey to the town of Marangu, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro.
From Marangu, we head directly into the Kilimanjaro National Park, where we'll embark on our three-and-a-half-hour trek. As we ascend the mountain slopes, you'll bear witness to the surrounding natural environment gradually changing. The perfect way to discover the abundant natural beauty of Tanzania!
During our hike around Kilimanjaro, we we'll pass through numerous forests before reaching the Mandara base camp, located at 9,000 feet (2,743 metres) above sea level. We'll make a stop here to regain our strength with a delicious picnic of sandwiches, biscuits, fruit, and juice.
We'll then continue onwards to the Maundi crater, another breathtakingly beautiful location on Kilimanjaro. After enjoying the astounding landscapes, we will start our descent on foot. Back at Marangu, a minibus will be waiting to return you to your hotel in Moshi.
