Discover Japan's mountain landscapes on this alpine tour from Nagoya. You'll walk down the Yuki-no-Otani snow wall passageway and explore the village of Tateyama.
Tateyama Kurobe Day Trip
At 6:30 am we'll meet at the Esca underground shopping centre in Nagoya and set off on our trip to Tateyama Kurobe. We'll spend about three and a half hours driving across the breathtaking landscapes of this area.
During the journey we'll give you a box of sushi to eat whenever you want. We'll get a glimpse of the peaks of the Japanese Alps before we reach our first destination: Tateyama.
From the village we'll head to Murodo where we'll marvel at snow walls of up to 20 metres! Snow ploughs work tirelessly to dig the path between the great frozen walls. We'll walk for an hour and forty minutes along this magnificent 500-metre long passageway!
At the end of the alpine route, we'll set off for the village of Tateyama. We'll explore its charming streets and visit its shops to buy local products.
At the end of the trip, we'll return to Nagoya and arrive at the starting point by 9:40 pm.
