We'll pick you up at your hotel in Nice and hit the road to get to know the gastronomic and artisanal culture of Provence.
Our first stop will be Opio, a little town in the middle of the mediterranean country, where the olives are an important part of the culture and cuisine. We'll visit an olive mill to learn about the production of olive oil, and during the visit you'll try the different types of oil produced, as well as other olive based products such as tapenade.
Next we'll make our way to the Mont Alban fort, in the highest part of Nice where, as well as admiring unbeatable views of the region, you'll learn about the history of this ancient military fort from the 16th century.
With our appetite piqued, we'll contune our tour at the "Restaurante Chez Pipo", and here we'll continue to get to know the typical cuisine of the region. This restaurant has been open for generations, producing local flavours such as Socca or Pissaladière. All this accompanied with a glass of rosé wine: delicious!
Appetite sated, we'll take you back to your hotel in Nice.
