The desert experience was almost perfect. The camels, despite the wind, were unforgettable, and the next day we went quad biking, which is truly something you shouldn't miss. My daughter and I went, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The Haima (upper level) was beautiful. My only negative comment: The driver arrived 50 minutes late and didn't even apologize.
The experience is very good, but I think that the tour could be better used, especially the days going to and from Merzouga, being able to stop at places of interest to visit them. In addition, the tour guide highlights places we passed by that we didn't even see or they didn't inform us of what we were going through there.
Excellent for seeing the desert, but don't have high expectations. The guide is just a driver, he is not a guide per se, he doesn't explain anything. The tour is quite express but it has to be because of the distances and the short time. The accommodations and the camp are very good, at least in the most expensive category. Avoid the camel ride, you can go walking or by quad. The quad experience in the desert is highly recommended even if you have to pay extra. I would do it again.
